Dan's experience as a cost-control accountant and end-user of Sage PRO ERP, combined with his programming ability, gives him a unique perspective on the best way to resolve a programming requirement. Dan has received product certifications from Accpac and Sage and has taken a number of Sage programming courses. Paramount to the BASM method of programming is to make modifications as transportable as possible to enable the client to continue to upgrade their base Sage software easily and affordably. Dan has mastered the use of Sage’s Customization Manager and surprises even Sage personnel with the work he accomplishes with it.

Dan’s accounting background, thriftiness and business acumen, all work together to provide our clients with sound solutions that work as promised. His ability to meet budget and timeline constraints provides affordable, on-time, no-surprises solutions to unique client requirements.

Dan is married to Jennifer and they have one child. Dan received his formal education in accounting at Mankato State University. Dan is the commander of the Army Reserve Band at Fort Snelling. When not engaged with the band, he likes to sail his 26’ Macgregor. Dan joined BASM in 1998.
