We have experienced many improvements in our processes since selecting BASM as our Pro Series VAR. It is exciting to see how much time and money we are saving because of these improvements.
UpDate Ltd. is a service company that provides equipment, parts and supplies for the finishing industry. Our customers include commercial printers, in-house printers, and large and small trade binderies.
We ship approximately 2000 orders per month. Thirty percent of these orders are drop shipped directly from our vendor to our customer. Automatically generating Purchase Orders and Invoices for customer orders being drop shipped has increased our accuracy and speed of ordering. This has helped our inventory manager cut his purchasing time in half even though our sales volume has increased.
The Data Driller has really allowed us to use our data to proactively manage our business. A case in point is the “Sales Analysis” data driller you created for us. This tool saves us tens of thousands of dollars in lost sales! Having instant access to our customers’ purchasing trends, we can immediately target those customers whose purchases are declining.
The tight integration between our Accounting software and our Customer Relation Management software is a powerful asset to our sales staff. They have all the tools they need to successfully manage their customer and prospect communications and instant access to current and past order information without having to leave the CRM tool and log into the Accounting tool.
We haven’t significantly changed the information we put into our system, but the information we get out of our current system is a vast improvement over our previous system. Our business management system has harnessed the power of our data. Any business owner or manager could certainly benefit from these powerful tools!
